Alton Miller - Find A Way FINAL

Rockett Creative designed the cover for a forthcoming release by Alton Miller on Vibe Boutique Records. Featuring the main man himself and remixes by Monodeluxe, Boddhi Satva, Dj Aphreme and Brothers in Vibe. This is sure to be a great track with heapings of soul aboard.

Like all works, we came up with various solutions before nailing it with this cover through working closely with Bria Dunston the Label head honcho.

Jstar Music Website

Rockett Creative were happily asked by Mr John Ayres to create a new website for Jstar. Like a true gent he gave us full reign on the whole thing and let us unleash the design juice. We did have a few conversations about raw veg, old records and the like but once a few images had been thrown over the garden fence at us, we were allowed to be our true creative selves. His one stipulation was to have an area he could post food recipes.

The website was hand built with a WordPress backend for Jstar to get in and use while on the road, And in the road he is…. always…. often uncontactable! We opted to use Google Web fonts on the site and a few CSS tricks to make the text titles etc shine like a graphic. Jstar wanted to have pretty much all people would need right on the front page so we have alsorts of embedded players and widgets plugged into it. And there is soon to be an On The Road video blog page..

John wanted to finally start geting a mailing list of his thousands of fans out there, he already had 2,300 likes on his Facebook page alone. So we set to task setting up his mailing list database using Mailchimp with a newsletter template designed and ready to fire when he finshes his current tour, which is his 4th of New Zeland. He is quite prolific with his gigs and has produced over 50 fine quality official remixes for artists such as Madness, DJ Vadim, The Black seeds, Ari Up, Mark Ronson and others…

He wanted to extend the branding we have created on the website to social networks like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter. And overall he has expressed extreme satisfaction with the project and we will be continuing the marketing of Jstar from here on in.

Take a look and dont forget to sample some of the musical delights… there are even a few free downloads on soundcloud.

Tamalpa UK

Tamalpa UK, The UK Branch of the Californian based Tamalpa Institute, asked Rockett Creative to help expand the brand and extend the web reach for one of five international “Tamalpa branches” invited by the Tamalpa Institute in California to teach the Level 1 Tamalpa Life Art®  training programme.

Along with exploring branding and general corporate image, we were given the task of creating an expressive yet informative UK website for the Branch due to open its doors in the Quarterhouse in Folkstone on April 5th 2012. Working closely with the Creative Director Lian Wilson, Rockett worked at making a vast ammount of information seem an easy place to be, while staying true to the expressive nature of this fabulous movement.

Obikà - Mozzarella Bar Obikà - Mozzarella Bar Obikà - Mozzarella Bar

Rockett Creative worked very closely with the client to bring the Web presence of this Global Brand up to date for the UK operations, complimenting a planned expansion planned for 2011/12.

The brief was to bring the Brand into the 21st century while keeping within the Corporate Guidelines. Creating a website which would allow for additions to Restaurant openings and moving forwards a members area with all sorts of benefits and offers. There are many planned widgets and gizmos to be applied in the coming months.

Rockett Creative were given an open field with regards to concepts and chose to try and recreate the feeling of walking into one of the extremely well designed and kitted out establishments. This approach was well received by the client and we happily went live with the site.

Another winner from the Rockett Creative team!

Rockett Creative developed this website very closely with its proud new owner Christine Sheperd or Mrs Kula as we like to call her!

She had a very clear idea of what she wanted which is always great. We built and carved it with love and now it is out in the wide world of web. The items on the site are just fantastic! In particular Rockett Creative absolutely love the FASE lamps she has. They will be updated regularly as she dunnarf sell some… and after some lessons in the art of WordPress from Rockett Creative, Christine is up and running and blogging for herself.

Have a little lookysee for yourselves.

www.basefilms.co.uk

Rockett Creative worked alongside the three partners at Basefilms London to create a bespoke Masterpiece of a website.
It combines the awesome power of WordPress + Headway along side some great design and some out there handcrafted coding to achieve the bespoke jquery video display strips.

We did try to buy an off-the-shelf plugin for this but it just didnt have the same feel and function we were going for so Tommy Rockett had to roll up his sleves and create a personalised version just for Base films. We are streaming video from Amazon S3 which is cool. First up we had to export the videos as MP4 streaming just to be sure, then connect the playlist to the amazonS3 files. The jQuery film like strips of videos below each player was a tricky number and we ended up pulling those in in iFrames and WordPress just wouldnt play ball with any plugins we could find that would allow us to paste code directly into a page.

This job was a beefy coding number but it was worth it, not so sure you can tell from the front end what is going on in the back but as long as the films play and the website functions to the clients request, then we are happy.

Check it out for yourselves and have a little play around. There are some great videos in there, one of the latest is a Ronaldo – Tested to the Limit advert for Castrol. The Team at Base Films are for sure Very talented folk!

I work quite closely with Bria of The Bria Project fame on all of her Vibe Boutique Record covers. Here are a few I have done lately.
Street Harmony by Martin L / Everybody Get Up by Dejay Cease Feat. Nakkia Henry / Phoenix by Anthony Beckford

Street Harmony EP - Martin L (Vibe Boutique) Everybody Get Up - Dejay Cease Feat. Nakiia Henry (Vibe) Phoenix - Anthony Beckford (Vibe)

Its great working with Bria as she always has a great sounds from which to start the creative process from. She is also very open to my creativity and lets me run wild with ideas before we work together to get them finalised.

This is a Branding I made for Pete Gooding & James Doman for the Record label they have created together. Was a fun process due to the nature of the brief and freedom they gave me in conceptualising Superficial. A little tongue in cheek to say the least…

Rockett really enjoyed creating this cover for Vibe Boutique Records. The track itself is Divine in it own right, let alone the vocal talents of Diviniti. Great freedom of creativity from the client always leads to nice outcomes.

Expect to see more pieces commissioned by Bria Dunston for Vibe & their bountiful releases.
